A lot of hospitality in a small street – that applies to the Aert van der Goesstraat.
At Today, where owner and host Danny den Harder has been pampering his customers since the spring of 2015, you can have breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. But there is also the high tea and the high wine. The high tea consists of mini sandwiches, wraps, savoury bites, scones, petit fours etc., even prosecco if you wish. The high wine is served just like the high tea on a tiered cake stand, very festive: if you have something to celebrate.
Every day from 9 in the morning customers are welcome. There is a change in the menu every three months. Another speciality: guests can have so called medium dishes, larger than a starter and smaller than a main course. Perfect for the small eater and all of them on a diet (loads of people) For children you can find all sorts on the menu and there are colour pencils and colouring pictures available.
Positive comments on Facebook for Today: ‘lovely meal, plenty, delicious and fresh food.’ A couple celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary did this with a high tea for thirty people; catering for a large group is not a problem.
For a celebration with colleagues, your student group and so on, there is the lounge available. Then there is a restaurant and a terrace. This could be a little bit larger says Danny who would like to have people meet each other at Today on a daily basis.
